Our Program
Center Stage Dance Academy welcomes students of all ages and abilities. Our academy was founded in 1993 for the purpose of giving all students a professional experience. At our academy we provide students with a well rounded program while maintaining artistry and a high technical standard. In our 4,000 sq.ft. facility, dancers are given a safe and fun learning environment, stimulating students to achieve their personal best. CSDA is committed to helping each and every student realize their full potential. Safety is a primary concern at our studio, so ALL of our instructors are fingerprinted and undergo a strict background check.
CSDA's program provides a solid technical foundation for all students. Younger dancers begin with our COMBINATION PROGRAM. This program is designed to develop a basic ballet and tap curriculum by using large muscle movement and basic motor skills. Creativity is a key factor, which provides a fun and exciting atmosphere.
The process continues into our one-hour BALLET, TAP, JAZZ, VOICE and ACTING technique classes. Students are introduced to a classical approach in ballet utilizing the Vaganova theories for beginners through advanced. Strength and flexibility are emphasized while precise technique is executed. Terminology is used the entire class with a clear understanding of its definition in both French and English. Pointe classes are offered at the advanced level. All students are given the opportunity to perform in our annual Student Recital.

For our more advanced dancers, we offer a variety of performance and competition groups. For those dancers wishing to focus on just jazz and tap, we offer JAZZ/TAP REPERTORY. For those looking for additional emphasis in ballet only, we offer our BALLET COMPANY. For those dancers who are looking for a well-rounded approach to all styles of dance, we offer our PERFORMING COMPANY. All these groups are by invitation only and require an additional commitment.
